Angels
These are local members of
our Arizona community who
have volunteered to bring
home at least one - sometimes
2 or more - military personnel
stationed on bases outside the
continental US.  If you know
any of them - give them a big
military mom hug from us.

What is Angels Wing all about?

Most people don't know that our military
pay their own way home when on leave.
Congress has asked air carriers to give
military fare,
H.R.2647.ENR, to all active
duty personnel but it is not required of
them.  Our military does not have the
advantage of flexible leave dates or
enough advance notice to get the same
deals offered to the average citizen.  Just
to come home for Christmas, many
stationed outside of the US will pay in
excess of $1000.  These same men and
women don't make much more than that a
month.
The Angels Wings fund helps make
coming home more affordable by splitting
the cost of airfare in half up to $500.
Angels Wings has currently changed - we
are now accepting applications from all
military coming home to Arizona - not just
those stationed on bases outside the
continental US.
